Russell Garrette Dodd, age 57, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 2, 1962 to Edward Dodd and Leslie Weber (nee Kavanaugh). Russell loved sports, especially had a passion for softball. He enjoyed reading, listening to 70s and 80s music, and spending time with the center of his life, his 5 children and granddaughter. He liked being outside and grilling as well. Russell never met a stranger and will be remembered for his kind heart, willingness to do anything for anyone and being a friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leslie Weber and grandmother, Ruby.

Russell is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Suzanne Dodd (nee Tolliver); children, William (Ashley) Dodd, Brandon Dodd, Bethany Dodd, Matthew Dodd, and Patrick Dodd; granddaughter, Elyse Dodd; father, Edward (Sherry) Dodd; brothers, Rick (Becky) Dodd, and Randy Dodd; and a host of other family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will be Monday, September 21, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
