Allie Jean DeZarn, age 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on March 19, 1937 to Theo and Sophie Proffitt (nee Hinkle).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Link "J.R." DeZarn, Jr., mother, Sophie Proffitt, father, Theo Proffitt; several sisters, and one brother.

Allie is survived by her beloved daughters, Connie (Ted) Reynolds, Kim (Wayne) Winkle, and Stephanie (Chris) Eaglin; grandchild, Branden, Derrick, Steffan (Jessica), Tyler (Christen), Zachary, Kyle, Shelly, Kayana, and Mariah; great-grandchildren, Blake, Dacoda, Jacob, Myla, Lillian, Riley, Norah, and Gwendolyn; great-great-grandchildren, Dameon, Elijah, Angel, Sophia, Serenity, Eddie, Allie, Ariana, Lailah; sisters, Dorothy Couch, Pauline (Dallas) Benge, Lela Goldie, and Nannie Coleman; and a host of other family members and friends.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Westside Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Avenue, from 11:00AM to 12:00 noon. The funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 12:00 noon, followed by burial at St. Joseph New Cemetery in the New Covedale Garden.
