1946 - 2020

Kenneth “Ken” Jansen, age 73, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 7, 1946 to William and Cecelia Jansen (nee Scherer).

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rev. William Jansen. Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Joanne M. Jansen (nee Richter); son, Scott Jansen; daughter, Teri (Neal) Scanlon; sister, Janet Ruehlmann; and a host of other family members and friends.

Ken was a proud graduate of Elder High School; class of 1964. He served his country in the United States Air Force, and was honorably discharged. Ken was a longtime member of the C.C.A.A. He was the former proprietor of Mt. Healthy Business Equipment and Ken’s Pub. He was an avid sports fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals and Xavier Musketeers. A memorial gathering celebrating Ken’s life will be held later this year.
