Mary E. Ware, was born on January 18, 1937 and raised in Cincinnati Ohio by the late Izola Foster –Matthews and Ernest Matthews, stepfather.

Mary was joined in marriage to the love of her life Paul A. Ware, Sr. (deceased). Mary and Paul were blessed with nine (9) children; five (5) sons and four (4) daughters.

Mary epitomized motherhood. She was a testament to that old saying, “you can only have one mother.” Mary was patient, kind and true. She asked nothing in return for the love she gave to her children. The kindness and compassion could be seen in her eyes and found in her embrace. She was a blessing and a gift, a treasure like no other and truly wonderful.

Mary is survived by her nine children: Paul A. Ware, Jr., Carolyn Jean Dean (Henry), Steve R. Ware, William L. Ware, Mary Charlene Ware, John Nicholas Ware, Claudia Ann McWhorter (Darryl Sr.), Sharon Ann Ware, and Michael Jermaine Ware; 18 grandchildren, Paula Norris (Bob), Paul Ware, III, Benjamin Dean (Qiana), Shunna Jones (Joseph), Jamie Bolden (Jason), Sean Ware, Keyera Ware, Brandon Ware, Kya Ware, Brittany Ware, Trey Harlan (Olivia), Brianna Ware, John Ware, Jr., Tevin Ware, Darryl McWhorter, Jr., Cicely McWhorter, Blake Ware and Jordan McWhorter; 22 great-grandchildren, Demetrius, Jay’quan, Seantanae, Roland, Jr., Qaden, Qerahn, Ella, Mone’t, Aunjale, Brayden, Kylie, Jason II, Justin, Tamaury, Karter, Karson, Azalea, Cashus, Carter, Tevin, Jr., Aiden and Jada.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Saturday, February 8, 2020 with a visitation from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 745 Ezzard Charles Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. Interment to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, 701 E. Ross Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45217.
