She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 20, 1929 to Freeman and Marie Applegate (nee Nagel).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Wainscott; daughter, Beverly Baldrick; her parents; and five siblings, Bob, Dave, Florence, Carol and Eileen.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Glenn) Neidlinger, Katie Hill, Kim (Gary) Hill; son, James Wainscott; eleven grandchildren, Shonya Agin, Larry Goodin, Dan Bowling, Jamey Taylor, Glenn Neidlinger, III, Missy Lawhorn, Michael Wainscott, Heather Hall, Brandon Buechel, Becky Wietmarschen, and Gary Hill; twenty two great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Pfirrman, Margie (Tom) Hines, and Joann Eckel, and a host of other family members and friends.
Family and friends may gather on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 with a visitation from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. A Celebration of Life will begin at the funeral home at 1:00PM.
