Reiko Williams

In Memory Of
Reiko Williams
1928 - 2019
She met and married Richard M. Williams of Cincinnati, Ohio while he was in the USAF on December 27, 1957. Reiko and Richard called many places home during his years of service, including the now decommissioned Chanute AFB in Rantoul, Illinois. Richard preceded her in death on October 18, 1975 while living in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon his death she still remained close to family living in Denver, Colorado and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Though there were no children born to this union, she was no less a mother figure to the many nieces and nephews in her family. She loved to cook our favorites, such as chop suey, curry, and egg rolls. She also enjoyed sharing and introducing friends and family to her favorites such as sushi, seaweed snacks and brown rice tea. But no matter where she lived, she sought Christ and was baptized at the Park Hill United Methodist Church in Denver, Colorado. When she moved to Cincinnati, she attended Real Life Community Church in Forest Park.
She leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Michiko and Kiyoko and niece, Naoko, all from Gifu-Shi, Japan; sister-in-laws, Florence M. Williams and Irene Williams of Dallas, Texas; special niece, Adrienne Boykin, of Aurora, Colorado; plus a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends and especially those at the Maple Knoll Senior complex in Reading, Ohio.
Funeral Ceremony will be at 4:00 pm Saturday, December 14, 2019 with a gathering from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
