Allene Marie Thomas (Sloan), age 83, wife of Francis “Gene” Thomas (of 67 years) of Erlanger, KY went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Allene was a loving wife, giving mother and grandmother, and long faithful member of Erlanger Baptist Church.
Allene was born on April 28, 1936 in Monticello, KY (with six siblings). She married Gene Thomas in 1952 and moved to Washington D.C. The two of them eventually settled in Covington, KY and on to Erlanger, KY for the longest part of her life.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Thomas; children, Barry Thomas (Yolanda), Roger Thomas (Lani), and Darryl Thomas; last surviving brother, Harold “Bruce” Sloan; grandchildren, Jason Thomas, Lindsey Thomas, and Sarah Strohmaier (Mitchell); and great-grandchildren Kristoffer and Lukas Strohmaier.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:00pm with funeral services immediately following at the Newcomer, Cremations, Funeral & Receptions (4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY).
