Lucy M. Gaines, age 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. She was born in Rockfield, Kentucky on September 8, 1931 to George and Rosetta McCutchen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, James Gaines, Gary Gaines; siblings, George McCutchen, Clarence McCutchen, Joseph McCutchen, Estelle McCutchen, Jenny Stovall, Augusta Harris. Lucy is survived by her beloved children, Shirley Young, Galen Gaines, Cecil Gaines; grandchildren, Demetrice Taylor, Domonic Gaines, Natisha Taylor, Monique Gaines, Colby Gaines; great-grandchildren, Deon Taylor, Monet Gaines, Lilliana Taylor; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 am Saturday, July 20, 2019 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial to follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
