Brandon James Phoenix was born on August 9, 1999 to Lisa Ann Phoenix and Michael Beasley. Brandon departed this life on June 5, 2019.

Brandon graduated from North College Hill High School in May of 2018. While he was in high school BJ ran track and was loved by his teachers, coaches, and his peers. After graduation he went on to get his career started at Children’s Hospital of Cincinnati where he worked in the Food Service Department. Brandon really loved his job.

Brandon gave his life to Christ at an early age. He joined From the Heart Ministries.

Brandon leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lisa Ann Phoenix; his father, Michael Beasley; one sister, Jalisa Phoenix (Ed) of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Michael Phoenix of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandmother, Cheryl Phoenix and grandfather, Richard Phoenix, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; uncles, John Phoenix (Charlotte), Richard Phoenix, David Chrisman of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a special aunt, Tonya Hinkston of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Brandon is also survived by his nephews, Christian Phoenix, Noah Wright of Cincinnati, Ohio and his nieces, Angel Phoenix, Heaven Phoenix, and Serenity Wright of Cincinnati, Ohio; two special friends, Jamond and Darnell Terry; a special lady friend, and a host of friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Nehemiah Wright.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a service to immediately follow at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial to Follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery - 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
