Byrd, Ida E. age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on April 15, 1932 to Robert and Fancy Barker (nee Sturgill).

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 25 years, Virgil C. Byrd; father, Robert Barker; mother, Fancy Barker; and brother, Robert Barker Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Hayden and Sarah Hayden; special loved one, Johnathan Russell. Ida is survived by her son, Jerry (Darlene) Byrd; sisters, Rose Brown, Nellie Todd, and Brenda (Raymond) Brown; grandchildren, Angela (Douglas) Byrd-Hayden, Shannon Byrd, and Stephanie Byrd; great-grandchildren, James Hayden, Matthew Hayden, Adriana Johnson, Stephen Hayden, Christopher Johnson Jr. (Bubby), Logan Byrd, Hannah Hayden, and Doogie Hayden; step-son, Gary (Laverne) Byrd; step-grandchild, Shelly Byrd-Rounds; special loved one, Jane Bird; special friends, Eileen Mitchell, Shay Rusher, Pauline Cox; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 followed by Funeral Ceremony at 12:00 am. Ida’s final resting place will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
