James is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Rhonda Downing (nee Noble); his sons, Michael (Jaclyn) Downing, Eric James (Rachael) Downing; his daughter, Molly Allison Downing; his granddaughters, Alexis, Ashley, and Ava; and a host of other family members and friends.
