She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Wurzelbacher; sister, Mary Hess. Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Lynn (Marty) Cole, Susan Grome, Jennifer (Robert) Burkhart, Stephen (Anna) Grome, Amy (Lance) Long, Thomas (Kim) Grome; sisters, Catherine (Dean) Thiemann, Rita Flach, Helen (Donald) Henz; 13 grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Dorothy was the founder and previous owner/proprietor of Venice Historical Antique Mall. She earned her real estate license and worked as a land developer. Some of her favorite things in life were antique furniture, playing card games, especially bridge, cooking and nutrition. Dorothy was very family oriented and lived for her grandchildren.
Mass will be 10:30 am Saturday, October 28, 2017 with a visitation from 9:00 am - 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Church, 5361 Dry Ridge Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45252. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, next to the church.
