Long, Royce R. age 69, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 6, 1947 to William and Josephine Long (nee Anderson).

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ulysses Long, Samuel Long, and Paul Long; his sister, Phyllis Bitter; and his grandson, Andrew Craig. Royce is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Sandy Long (nee Nichols); three sons, Randy Long, Mike (Julie) Craig, and Matt (Melissa) Long, two step-sons, Mike (Patty) Cable, and Charles Cable, Jr.; his brother, Bill (Marilyn) Long; his sister, Joyce (Mel) Helton; seven grandchildren, Maddie and Mike Cable, Ellie Long, Angela, Kara-lee, Lori, Danielle Craig; and numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Royce, contributions may be made to Crossway Community Church, 9091 New Haven Road, Harrison, Ohio 45030 . Funeral Ceremony will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 with a visitation from 4:00 pm until the time of service at Newcomer Funeral Home - Western Hills Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
