Reed, James B. "Jim"age 78, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Reed, mother, Anna Mae Helmling, step father, Bud Helmling, brother, Jerrald Reed, and granddaughter, Everly Reed.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Laverne Reed (nee Labanz); daughter, Leah (Les) Morgan; sons, Robert (Katie) Reed and Jason (Carrie) Reed; grandchildren, Chad Morgan, Brett Morgan, Austin Reed, Madison Reed and Makalynn Rose; sisters, Judy Robinson, Janice Lester and Jeanine Slayback; and a host of other family members and friends.

Jim proudly served in the United States Navy. He had a successful career for many years as a Mechanical Designer working for several different companies. In his free time, Jim enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching football, he was a Bengals fan. He was also an excellent cook. Most of all, family was the most important thing to Jim. He had many friends from the American Legion in Mt. Healthy that he was quite active with over the years.

In loving memory of Jim, contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 4050 Executive Park Drive, Suite 402, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241.

Saturday, January 28, 2023 will be the visitation from 9:30 am - 11:30 am with a Memorial Mass following at 11:30 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church , 2014 Springdale Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Inurnment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
