In Memory Of
Christina A. Chatman
1973 - 2022

Christina Antionette Chatman was born on a very hot summer day, August 21, 1973 in Cincinnati, OH.

She attended Pleasant Hill and College Hill Elementary, Schwab Jr. High School and Aiken High School. While at Aiken High School, she participated in the Upward Bound Program at the University of Cincinnati for three years. She was also on the Drill Team where she held the First Lieutenant position. After high school, Tina as she was affectionately known as, attended Kent State University. She later came home and started hair school at International Academy of Hair Design.

Tina heard God speak to her saying her job was to stay home and pray. She didn’t want to because she said she wanted to get a good job to be able to buy a house, car, etc. But because of the call of God on her life, she was obedient to the call. She told God that she didn’t know how to pray like her mom.

God told her to get Faith’s phone and talk with him on her phone and this was how she began her journeying of praying that turned into hours of prayer day in and day out. She loved to write scripture books and pass them out to people she would minister to.

She loved to do hair to make people feel pretty, and boy, did she love to cook, sew, and bake cookies for others. During Christmas, she would bake cookies for the garbage men and postal workers and place them in Christmas goodie bags. Christmas was her favorite time of year.

She was a great teacher. She made sure the kids would know and understand what they were taught guiding children toward the peak of their potential.

She enjoyed dancing, cleaning, decorating and going to the store to buy food. She was organized in all that she did. She made sure everything was in order.

She loved most of all to tell people about Jesus and her love for him. She was a woman after God’s heart.

She has now joined her father, Robert Chatman and her sister, Joy Chatman in her heavenly home.

Tina leaves behind to cherish her special memories; her mother, Couris; two sisters, Dirine and Faith; and one brother, Noah (Tunisha); Godmother, Ivy Gray; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at Lifespring Christian Church, 1373 Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, with a repast immediately following the service.
