Rosemary Metzger, 79, of Maineville, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. She was born in Cincinnati on April 11, 1942 to Ralph and Ruby Proctor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Proctor and Ruby Proctor Woods; her step-father, James Woods; and brother, Charles "Chuck" Proctor. Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband, Peter Metzger; her daughter, Michelle (Mark) Allison; her favorite grandson, Patrick Allison; her sister-in-law, Jean Proctor; and many nieces, nephews, and loving, loyal friends.
Rosemary earned an Associate's Degree from the University of Cincinnati School of Business. While attending UC she played clarinet in the UC Bearcat Band where she met lifelong friends and her future husband Pete, whom she married on July 2, 1966. Rosie enjoyed over 40 years of playing clarinet in Pete's Sycamore Community Band, and was the beloved and respected Sycamore High School Drill Team Director for 29 years.
