In Memory Of
Ellen Marie Schehr
1949 - 2021
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John L. Schehr, and brothers, Toby Frye, Pete Frye and Jimmy Frye. Ellen is survived by her beloved daughters, Chandal (Adam) Chauvette and Melissa Specht; grandchildren, Savanna (Anthony) Towe, Ava Chauvette, Syrah Chauvette and Zaiyn Chauvette; great-granddaughter, Dakota Towe; brother, Joseph (Liz) Frye; and a host of other family members and friends.
Ellen was a beautiful soul with a huge heart, and shined a brilliant light. She wasn't perfect, no one is, but she was herself and always shared a smile and a hug with everyone. Ellen fought a fierce battle with cancer, but she remained positive and strong in her faith, leaning always on God to see her through. Her greatest achievements were her children and grandchildren.
She was loved by many, and those who knew her knew how lucky and blessed they were to have known her and had her presence in their lives. She will be missed deeply, always and forever loved -- never forgotten.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
