Rickey L. Simpson, age 64, of College Hill, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 31, 1956 to Samuel S. and Mary Ann Simpson (nee Ball).

He was preceded in death by his son, Rickey Posey; and parents.

Rickey is survived by his beloved wife, Janetta Simpson (nee West); children, Kanisha C. West, Paris T. West, Naricka Taylor, and Ricardo Posey; a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brothers, Don J (Gwendolyn Tyus) Simpson, Mark A. Simpson, Michael Jerome Simpson; special friend, Morris Woods; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will take place on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM on Monday, March 22 at the graveside at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
