Matthew Ray Jones, age 45, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 12, 1976 to Finley and Connie Jones (nee Tanner).

Matt graduated from Northwest High School in 1994. He enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years, and recently started to enjoy dirt track racing. He was a hard worker, and loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Tanner, Dorothy Teeters, and Edd and Vola Jones.

Matthew is survived by his beloved daughters, Kaitlyn N. (Rachel Smith) Beck, Chelsey L. Beck, and Kennedy Jones; grandson, Jackson T. Seifert; mother, Connie Jones; father, Finley Jones; sister, Tralisha (Scott) Kist; brother, Nathan (Carrie) Jones; nieces and nephews, Brandyn (Taylor) Kist, Cody (Chelsea) Kist, Devin Kist, Danny Windsor, Alex Windsor, and Abby Windsor; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Matthew, contributions may be made to Cincinnati Eye Institute.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
