Sara Elizabeth Hood, age 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She was born in Williamson, Georgia on July 20, 1933 to Walter and Annie Jones (nee Walker).

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Issac W. Hood; son, William V. Hood; granddaughter, Elizabeth Hood; siblings, Annie Mae Lucas, Walter Jones, Jr., Paul Jones. Sara is survived by her beloved daughters, Sarita Williams, Izella (Jeffrie) Pollard, Shasme' (Anthony) Taylor, Djuna Hood; grandchildren, Shonilli Edwards, Athena Pollard, Samara Elliot, Valarie Pollard, Victor Harmon, Dana Whitney, Jeffrie Pollard; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Sara, contributions may be made in her honor to Newcomer Funeral Home.

Funeral Ceremony will be at 12:00 pm Tuesday, February 2, 2021 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at United House of Prayer For All People, 1860 Clarion Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207. Burial to follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
