Janet F. Nolte (nee Ruebusch), age 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 17, 1931 to Herman and Frieda Ruebusch (nee Gunn). Janet loved gardening and watching birds feed at her feeders from her kitchen window. She also enjoyed playing cards including: Solitaire, Euchre, and Gin-Rummy. She was a faithful supporter of the police department, The Boys and Girls Club, The City Gospel Mission, and the ASPCA. She will be remembered most for her generosity towards others.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Ruebusch, and Jerry Ruebusch.

Janet is survived by her children, Roger L. Nolte, Judy L. (Larry) Blackburn, Linda S. Armstrong, Sally A. Nolte, and Christina M. Grimes, grandchildren, David (Javeness) Heinen, Rachel (David) Force, Jennifer Blackburn, Kate (Angela) Nolte, Steven Armstrong, and Kayla Grimes; 5 great-grandchildren; friend, Eric Armstrong; son-in-law, Troy Grimes, and a host of other family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, September 17, 2020 beginning at 10 am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 7130 Harrison Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45247. Burial will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road Cincinnati, OH 45238.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Janet may be made to the organization of the donors choice.
