Colwell, Carol Charlene age 81, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 23, 1938 to James and Estelle Earls (nee Richmond).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thirty Colwell; and ten brothers and sisters. Carol is survived by her daughter, Karen Bottoms; her son, Bobby (Amanda) Colwell; her grandchildren, Kristopher (Linzee) Bottoms, Bailey Back, Kaitlyn Bottoms, Ryan Girdler, Raegan, Zoey, Sadye, and Bryson Colwell; great-grandchildren, Karlee, Mason, Ava, and Addiland; her devoted caregiver and niece, Bernice Earls; and a host of other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or if you are to purchase flowers, please send a planter.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
