Brandon David Chapman, age 42, of Wyoming, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 30, 1977 to David Anthony (Margaret) Chapman and Sharon McGee Chapman.

Brandon enjoyed hiking and camping from elementary school to high school with the Wyoming Chapter of the Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from Wyoming High School in 1996. While in high school, he played violin in the orchestra. He then went on to undergraduate school at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where he majored in political science and received his bachelor degree. After college he moved to Atlanta and completed a graduate study from Emory University in paralegal studies. While in Atlanta, Brandon worked for several large companies. He was also very skilled with computers and technology.

Brandon's life was interrupted in 2009 when he had a heart attack. This left his heart very weak, leading to a pacemaker and defibrillator being surgically implanted. After the heart attack, his work potential was severely limited.

Brandon was an avid volunteer at the Soul Food Pantry on the premises of Springdale Nazarene Church. He also attended Springdale Nazarene Church as his home church. Brandon enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Zelema Savage McGee, and Howard Estes and Elizabeth Kohler Chapman, Jr.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Sharon McGee Chapman and father, David Anthony (Margaret) Chapman; brothers, Jody Brown and Justin Chapman; uncles, Edwin "Chipper" Savage McGee and Gregory L. Chapman; aunt, Hattie (Chapman) Smith; long term friend from Wyoming High School, Amber Rayburn and her children, and a host of other family members and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 10:30 to 11:00AM at the Springdale Nazarene Church, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246. A Memorial service will follow, beginning at 11:00AM at the church.
