1930 - 2020

Leon Hardin was born April 2, 1930 to Deedee Hardin and Edna Robinson (nee Simpson). The only son of five siblings; Martha, Lillian, Mildred, Ruth (all preceded in death) and Dorothy.

Leon was raised in West College Hill by his stepmother, Florence Hardin. As a young man, he attended school and church. He later moved to the inner city where he lived and worked. Leon was well known for his great personality and friendliness while working at Bachsaks. He became well recognized in the West End community.

A lifelong bachelor, Leon thoroughly enjoyed family outings, sports, blues, and was totally devoted to his sisters and all their children. He was well loved and revered by all his nieces and nephews, and respected by his friends. Even though he faced many difficulties in life, he remained a strong example to his family, living a long determined life. He leaves one sister, Dorothy Lee Terrell, and a host of relatives and friends.

Family and friends may gather for a viewing on Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45231, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
