Robert “Bob” Henry lost his battle with cancer on October 8, 2019 at 6:17 pm peacefully at his home in Independence, KY with his loving wife by his side. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard; mother, Jean; brother, William(Billy); and son, Robbie. He was born in Bronx, NY on April 9, 1949.

Bob was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving 1966-1970. He retired from St. Elizabeth after a long stint as a stationary engineer. He took a short break from working, but headed back to work a year later for Providence Pavilion working part time.

In his free time he enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR, boating, fishing, and scuba diving. He enjoyed his chocolate cake with chocolate icing and Oreos with milk. Bob was a devoted UK basketball fan.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by is devoted wife of 23 years, Linda; daughter, Tammy; step-daughter, Kasey; step-son, Donald; brother, Richard (Diane); sister, Patricia (Archie); and 6 grandchildren.
