Woltering, William H. "Bill" age 70, of Finneytown, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 23, 1948 to William H. and Anna Mae Woltering (nee Palmer).
He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Woltering; mother, Anna Mae Woltering; sister, Margie; and uncle, Harry Morehead. Bill is survived by the love of his life, Mary Jo Volker; children, Dawn Mengler Zieverink, Debra A. Brooks, Jeff Woltering, Joseph Woltering, Thomas Volker, and Theodore Volker; sisters, Lorraine and Joyce; as well as, many grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and sports teams and students; and a host of other family members and friends.
Bill had a long battle with diabetes, heart failure and kidney failure but he didn't let that get in the way of his passion to coach all sports. At 45 years old, Bill decided to go back to school to become a teacher where he continued to coach in Cincinnati Public Schools.
In loving memory of Bill, contributions may be made to Diabetes Foundation or The Friars Club. Graveside Service will be 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Spring Grove Cemetery 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
