Elizabeth “Liz” Charlotte Schultz, age 92, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 10, 1926 to Adolph and Bernadine Johannkamp (nee Prenting).

She was preceded in death by her father, Adolph Johannkamp; mother, Bernadine Johannkamp; husband, Jack R. Schultz; sister, Hilda Hopping; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Schultz. Elizabeth is survived by her beloved children, Jacquelyn Newcomb, Barry Schultz, Jill (Michael) Denton, Craig (Kim) Schultz, Dale Schultz, Lance (Maureen) Schultz, Eric Schultz, Lisa (Bradley) Wyatt; grandchildren, Wendy (Ted) Jennings, Tim (Stephanie) Newcomb, Jessica (Jon) Dingler., Julie Schultz, Wade Schultz, Kyle Schultz, Gage Schultz, Caroline Schultz, Alanna Schultz, Jack Schultz, Mary Kate Schultz, Trista Schultz, Anna Schultz, Shelby Wyatt, Valerie Wyatt, Joby Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Brooke Jennings, Max Jennings, Emma Dingler; nephew, Doug Hopping; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was an extremely intelligent woman. She was a pilot at the age of 18 and had an interest in science and math. She was a talented piano player and singer; starting out in Mother Singers and then joining Sweet Adeline’s in 1974. Singing was her passion and her dedication to the group was evident by the positions that she held; President, Vice-President and Treasurer. She coached her daughter’s softball teams and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Summerfair. She had an incredibly giving nature and the kindest soul.

Among her many accomplishments, the one she valued most was raising 8 wonderful children and spending time with her grandchildren. They were her everything.

She will be remembered as a loving, doting mother and a hardworking, selfless woman who loved music and a good mystery. She enjoyed cooking for her family, being a handy woman and spreading cheer wherever she went. Her world revolved around her husband, whom she missed dearly, and her children; whom all know how much they were loved.
