Groene, Vivian M. age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 8, 1933 to Cornelius and Loretta Hoctor (nee Grady). Vivian married Roger Groene on April 7, 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her two sisters, Mary Ellen (John) Levy and Ruth (Don) Schenkel. Vivian is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Roger Groene; her daughter, Diane (Tom) Allgeyer; her son, Tom (Barb) Groene; her grandchildren, Todd (Cathy) Allgeyer, Jamie (Rob) Rosenblatt, Christy (Scott) Burbrink, Jenna (Dan) Schira, Michael (Bailey) Allgeyer, Keith (Liz) Groene, Staci (David) Cobb, Nicholas Allgeyer and Ben Rader; her great-grandchildren, Riley, Carter, Brady, Sophia, Ella, Clara, Gabriel, Gus, Nora, Garrison, Simon, Charlotte, and Asher; her brother-in-law, Ted (Martha) Groene; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Vivian , contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am - 10:30 am at St. Antoninus Parish, 1500 Linneman Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Burial will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
