Diefenbacher, Valerie Kay, age 42, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was born in Hamilton on January 12, 1977 the daughter of Charles Diefenbacher and Jana Maddix (nee Holt).

Valerie was a loving mother and grandmother, who adored her grandchildren. She liked to listen to music and loved gardening. Valerie had a huge heart and was always willing to help others.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jana Maddix; grandparents, Bob and Pat Diefenbacher; and her uncle, Michael Diefenbacher Sr. Valerie is survived by her daughters, Courteney (Nick Croucher) Bowman, Emily (Nick Ebbing) Diefenbacher, Tiffany Bisel and Karissa McQueen; her grandchildren, Janalee and Leo; her father, Chuck Diefenbacher; her step-mother, Mary Ann Smith; her siblings, Brad (Amie) Diefenbacher, Brandon (Justin Duggins) Maddix and Ty Ramey; her uncle, Timothy Diefenbacher Sr.; her aunt, Janetta Diefenbacher; her cousins, Timothy (Mindy) Diefenbacher Jr., Jody (Johnna) Diefenbacher and Michael Diefenbacher Jr.; her step-children, Tamara and Steven II; her step-siblings, Michaela, Brandon and Whitney Patton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 2pm until the time of service at 5pm at the Tylersville Worship Center, 2753 Tylersville Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45015. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon at the church, following her funeral service.
