Strawder, William R. age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. He was born in Paris, Kentucky on March 4, 1943 to Robert Strawder and Hattie Porter (nee Marshall).

William was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and served his country during the Vietnam War, where he received the Bronze Star Medal.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Louise Strawder; and step-father, Billie Porter. William is survived by his siblings, Rosetta F. (Clyde) Marks, Larry J. (Robin) Porter, John S. Porter; step-son, William Carter Robinson; numerous step-grandchildren; fiancée, Chiquita Lee; brothers-in-law, Robert Custard, Joe Custard; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 am Friday, December 21, 2018 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial to follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
