Hicks, Charles Richard age 86, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 16, 1932 to Henry Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Hicks (nee Marsh).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Floyd and Mary Elizabeth Marsh; siblings, Marie Miranda, Betty Hauser and Ralph Hicks. Chuck is survived by his beloved Mary Ann "Micky" of 66 years (nee Bruening); daughters, Katherine Lynn "Cookie" Montgomery and Connie Newcomb; brother, Henry "Bud" (Chris) Hicks; grandchildren, Richard Charles Montgomery, Mindy Ann Louise (Chad) Beale; great-grandchildren, Denin Charles Montgomery, Myles William Beale, Rylan Montgomery Beale and Milana Lynn Beale; and a host of other family members and friends.

Chuck was involved with the Free Masons and achieved the status of Master of the College Hill Harry S. Johnson Lodge. Among his other achievements, he also held the rank of High Priest of the Royal Arch and was a three time worthy patron of the Eastern Stars. Chuck's drive to help others led him to become an ambassador for the Shriners.

In loving memory of Chuck, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cincinnati Hospice. Funeral Ceremony will be 2:00 pm Thursday, October 18, 2018 with a visitation from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial will immediately follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens with a gathering from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the community center.
