James Edman Farley, 76 years, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Friday, October 5, 2018 at Sanctuary Pointe, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Hardy, KY, October 11, 1941. The son of the late Lawrence and Nolie Hunt Farley.

He retired as an electrician at Ellis & Watts, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was baptized and became a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church, Fairfield, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Lowry Farley; three brothers, Harold, Donnie and Darrell Farley; one sister, Ebba Helen Farley. He is survived by two brothers, Charles (Marianne) Farley, of Batavia, Ohio and Jerry (Carol) Farley of Hardy, KY; eight sisters, Ollie (Johnny) Scott of Fairfield, Ohio, Barbara (the late Roscoe) Williamson, Judy (Clayton) Stanley, Daisy (Vernel) Sesco, Amanda Cleo Farley of Sidney, KY, Connie (Bill) Huddle of McCarr, KY, Patsy (Gary)Dotson of Ransom, KY, and Patty (Lewis) Luster of Sabina, OH. He is also survived by a special niece, Carman Savage of Greenville, NC.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October, 9, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral ceremony to follow at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals Receptions 7830 Hamilton Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45213. Pastor Barry Wilson to officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4360 Cooper Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45242 or Hilltop Baptist Church, 2425 Mack Road Fairfield, Ohio 45014.
