Thomas Patrick "Peanut" Mayes, 53, of Latonia, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 23, 1965 to the late Jesse Lee and Margaret Ann Bailey-Mayes.

In addition to his parents Peanut was preceded in death by his companion of many years Beverly Holt and four siblings Jesse Lee Mayes, Jr., Timothy Wayne Mayes, Curtis Allen Mayes and Lisa Ann Mayes.

Tommy is survived by his son, Vincent Mayes; eight siblings James Michael (Carol) Mayes, Deborah (Kale) Kelly, Kenny Leo Mayes, Melinda Sue (Lorn) Cooper, Martin Joseph (Stephanie Young) Mayes, Willard Mayes, Martina Marie (John) Wassom and Marjorie McElfresh as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.

In loving memory of "Peanut" the family will host a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 2, 2018 with a Memorial Visitation from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
