Ayers, Charles Tyler age 83, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was born in Ewing , Virginia on August 18, 1935 to Mose and Maymie Ayers (nee Eldridge). Charles was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Donna Virginia Frances Ayers (nee Whittaker); his sons, Greg Ayers, Timmy Ayers; his daughter, Donna Smith; his grandchildren, Michael Ayers, Tammy Perkins and Eric Perkins; his siblings, Curtis Ayers, John Ayers, Loretta Parks, Pauline Marsee, Cleo Ayers; and his sons-in-law, William Holthause and Tommy Perkins. Charles is survived by his beloved children Lori (Mark) Ayers-Brown, Sarah Holthause, Sue Perkins, Brenda Shepherd, Jim (Debbie) Smith; his grandchildren, Charles "CJ" Ayers, Aaron Ayers, Emma Burns, Nancy Banard, Eric (Taylor) Mahon, Andrea Smith, Veronica Smith, Candy Glisson, Tom Perkins, Bill Holthause Jr., Randy Dick, Jimmy Colliors and Brian Colliors; his great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jacob, Dustin, Morgan, Gage, Alexander, Addison, Zane, Faye, and many other great-grandchildren; sister Virginia Bledsoe; his step-sister, Barbara Martin; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
