Raymond (Ray) Carson Meyer, of Cincinnati, Ohio, born on February 27, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Emma Meyer (Dohrmann) and the late Edmund Meyer, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 80 on September 4, 2018 at his home in Mariemont, Ohio. He graduated from Western Hills High School in 1956. Raymond served in the Army Reserve from 1959 to 1965. He worked in the Printing industry as a sales representative at Ket-Moy Printing. After retiring from Ket-Moy Printing, Ray worked at the Hamilton County Courthouse for 10 years. He met a lot of people there and made new friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his sisters, Charlotte (Lakamp) and Sylvia (Silver). He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Lewis (Roger) and Kara Guckenberger; brother, Ed (Judy); and grandchild, Drue Larkin. Ray also was very close to one of his nieces, Judy Hague (Jimmy). Although she lived out of state, they spoke regularly. Ray was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Cincinnati Reds. He often went to Crosley Field as a child. Ray was a walking encyclopedia when it came to MLB, especially the Reds.


Memorial service will be private. The family invites donations in Raymond's name to SPCA Cincinnati, 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.
