Callie V. "Jenny" Hubbard
1924 - 2018

Callie Virginia Hubbard age 93, of Warsaw, Kentucky passed away peacefully on July 30, 2018. Callie was born in Heidelberg, Kentucky on December 21, 1924. She was the daughter of Andy and Roberta (Wilson) Couch. Early in her life, Callie worked at the local White Castle restaurant. It is here that she met the love of her life and her future husband, William Earl Hubbard. When Bill walked into the restaurant, Callie said, "That's my man if I never get him!" Little did Callie know, Bill felt the same way about her. They dated for three months and were married on September 11, 1947, at the minister's home in Ludlow, Kentucky.

Callie spent her life raising her children and family. She had a smile that would light up a room and warm hearts. She enjoyed life and loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Ladies Red Hat Club and active in the Huber Heights Senior Citizens Center where she enjoyed playing Bingo. For years Callie and Bill enjoyed playing cards with friends. They were particularly fond of playing a "spirited" game of euchre.

Bill and Callie were blessed with four children: daughters, Lisa (Chuck D'Agostino) Hubbard of Huber Heights, Ohio and Judy Hubbard; sons, Billy Hubbard and Greg Hubbard; grandsons, Bryan S. Eads, Andrew C. Eads and Jarrod A. Shivers; granddaughter, Brandi Chivleatto; great-grandsons Andrew C. Eads, Jr. and Ethan L. Eads; and great-granddaughters, Katie Shelton and Sky E. Shivers. Callie is also blessed to be survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Along with her parents and husband, Callie was preceded in death by her sister, Russecella Louden; and brothers, Delbert G. Couch and Hank D. Couch.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky on Thursday, August 2 at 1pm. Funeral will immediately follow at 2pm with Pastor Doug Foster officiating. Burial and committal service will be in Belleview Bottoms Cemetery, 6058 Burlington Pike, Burlington, Kentucky, 41005.
