Barnes, Janet “Froggie” age 59, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 10, 1958 to Robert and Virginia Hicks (nee Steinborn).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Hicks; siblings, Jeffery, Larry, Tommy, Dennis, Susan, and Patricia; step-son, Wesley Vance. Froggie is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Michael Barnes; children, Shawn (Tammy) Hicks, Rachele Barnes, James (Toni) Barnes, and Christina (Keith Flower) Barnes; brothers, David and Richard; grandchildren, Calvin (Kayla), Daniel, Cassey, Stephanie, Keith, Jarrod, Autumn, C.J., and Chloe; great-granddaughter, Nevaeh and soon be in May, Clea; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 followed by a Celebration of Life at 7:00 pm.
