Smith, Martha Alice age 94, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. She was born in Harrisburg, Kentucky on August 26, 1923 to George and Clara Dearinger (nee Sleuter).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Smith; her daughter, Karen Sue Smith; and her siblings, Betty, Jewel, and Clyde. Martha is survived by her children, Michelle Jean Henshaw, Dan Smith and his wife Rita, Chris Marvin Smith and his wife Linda Lee, David Smith and his wife Tammy, Kevin Wayne Smith and his wife Tina; her grandchildren, Shanna, Rena, Annamarie, Mike, Kenny, Jason, Josh, Paul, Matthew, Christian, Lisa, Austin, Derek, and Jeremey; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and herson-in-law, Byrd Ealy; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Martha, contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association Greater Cincinnati, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 10:00am until the time of service at 12 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
