ROST, Nancy (nee Smidt), age 65 of Cincinnati passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015, after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on July 8, 1950 in Rochester, New York to Jeanne and the late Marvin Smidt. Nancy was married to Paul Rost on November 30, 1974 in Montgomery, Alabama. She loved art, music, and was an active member of her church.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Paul Rost; her four children, Mark Rost and his wife Allison, Julie Rost-Jn Marie and her husband Sixtus, Jeffrey Rost, and Laura Rost; four grandchildren, Trey, Ethan, Trevor, and Andrew; and her brother Ron Smidt and his wife Judy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12th, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1451 Ebenezer Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. A memorial gathering will take place from 9:00 am - 10:30 am, with a memorial service to follow.
