LANGWORTHY, Gilbert E., age 78 of Cincinnati passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. He was born in Big Rapids, Michigan on January 21, 1937 the son of Kermit and Elizabeth (Bowman) Langworthy. Gil was a veteran with the United States Navy. On March 10, 2002 he was married to Judith Ann Rutledge. He was a craftsman, avid fisherman and hunter. Gil enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, reading, and many outdoor activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his two brothers, Mark Langworthy and Edward Langworthy. Gil is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Langworthy; five children, Terry Langworthy and his wife Mary Beth, Mary Jo Kaminsky, John Langworthy and his wife Amy, Jason Langworthy and his wife Gina, and Matthew Langworthy and his wife Caroline; thirteen grandchildren, Melissa Langworthy and her husband Daniell Dickson, Greg Langworthy and his wife Emily, Suzanna Langworthy, Kathryn Kaminsky, Johnny Langworthy and his companion Bryana Bronner, Jake Langworthy, Sara Langworthy, Eli Langworthy, Kara Langworthy, Julia Langworthy, Becca Langworthy, Morgan Langworthy, and Luke Langworthy; one great-grandson, Jase Langworthy; two sisters, Caroll Horton and her husband Bruce and Bonnie Novak; his brothers-in-law, Bruce, David and Shane; his sisters-in-law, Teresa Pacey and Sheila; his puppy Buster; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm.
