BAUMAN, Marilyn T., age 86 of Cincinnati, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 7, 1928 the daughter of Harold and Eleanor (Joy) McCormick. Marilyn was the beloved wife of the late William (“Bill”) Bauman, her husband of 57 years. She was the devoted mother of Mary (Steve) Boehm, Maureen (Rick) Auhagen, Kathy (John) Cline, Carol (Troy) Hayes, Brian (Cindy) Bauman, and Claudia (Dan) Hawkins; the proud and loving grandmother of Chris (Michelle) Boehm, Jason (Erin) Boehm, Lindsay (Steven) Rose, Alicia Auhagen, Kelly Cline, Alexandra Hayes, Shane and Marinice Bauman, Nick and Andrew Hawkins; and the great-grandmother of Christopher Thornton, Lexie Nicholes, and Rylie Boehm. She is survived by her brother Jerry (Noreen) McCormick, and many nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Marilyn lived as a shining example of her Catholic faith through her actions and words. She was a selfless person, always thinking about others before herself. Those who came in contact with Marilyn were greeted with a smile and concern for their well-being. Even in her final hours, she never wanted her family to worry about her.

Being surrounded by family was always Marilyn’s top priority and greatest happiness. She welcomed each of her children’s spouses with open arms, and loved them as her own children. She treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and enjoyed attending their numerous activities and events. Marilyn’s love extended to all her friends, including the entire Twin Towers community.

A visitation will be held at Twin Towers Senior Living Community, 5343 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224, on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 8:00 am until 9:30 am. Funeral ceremony will follow at 9:30 am. Burial will be held at the St. James Cemetery.
