He was preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Joe Engle. Bobby is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Irene Engle (nee Dozier); daughters, Karla Jean Hall, Teresa Kay Engle; grandchildren, James Lee Rowland II, Amber Lin Rowland; brother, Dewey C. (Jessie) Engle; nine nieces and four nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
"My grandfather's upbringing, childhood experiences, aspirations, and his multitude of talents and abilities plus his garrulous personality enabled him to make new friends everywhere he went. He could communicate with anybody about almost any subject regardless of their age, sex or cultural background. I must conclude that my grandfather was truly remarkable man who admired, respected and loved by many. I am proud that he was my grandfather. His family and friends will miss him very much" -James L. A public visitation and viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm with a Masonic service to follow at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions 4350 Dixie Highway Erlanger, KY 41018.
