Gladys T. Fryman, 84 of Burlington, Kentucky went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 19, 2018. Gladys passed at the Family Farm surrounded by her family. She was born December 17, 1933 to William and Helen Willabean-Merrill in Newport, Kentucky. Gladys was one of thirteen children.

Gladys married her sweetheart, Stanley Fryman in 1949 at the age of sixteen. Throughout the preceding years they moved to Rabbit Hash, Kentucky and started a family and farm. They were blessed with four sons and one daughter as numerous grandchildren throughout their 51 years of marriage.

Gladys was a long time member of Burlington Bible Church where she served as a beloved Sunday School Teacher for many years. As a lifetime homemaker and caregiver she spent her life doing the lords work by caring for those in need in her family and her church family. She enjoyed cooking for her large family and caring for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout the years.If you left Gladys' table hungry it was not by any choice of hers.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Fryman of 51 years, her parents, her brothers Vinard Merrill, Everett Merrill, Buford Merrill, Bernard Merrill and sisters Mary Harris, Elsie Snell and daughter-in-law Judy Fryman.

Gladys is survived by her sons Hanley Fryman, Eugene (Rita) Fryman, Jerry (Doris) Fryman, Bryan (Rhonda) Fryman and Daughter Angelia (Bill) Garland, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, her sister Dorothy Brown and sister-in-law Norma Merrill as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Burlington Bible Church, 6529 Rogers Lane, Burlington, Kentucky 41005 with Pastor Darrell Stetler officiating. Burial will follow at the Fryman Family Cemetery on the farm near Rabbit Hash, Kentucky under the direction of Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky, 41018.

The family will greet visitors during the visitation on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 6-9 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice Care, 483 S. Loop Road, Edgewood, Kentucky 41017 or to the Burlington Bible Church, c/o Vacation Bible School Fund, 6529 Rogers Lane, Burlington, Kentucky 41005.
