James Barry Ashcraft, 72, of Covington, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 2, 1946 to the late Jess Kelly and Anna May Ashcraft.

In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by seven siblings John Willen, Hellen Khars, Richard Willen, Margaret Burgelt, Jerry Ashcraft, Jess Ashcraft and Jack Ashcraft.

James is survived by his beloved family including two sons, James Christopher Ashcraft and Jason Kelly Ashcraft; two daughters Brandy Frances (Quincy) Barrett and Rachel Inez Toole; nine grandchildren and two sisters Anna Roberts and Jenny Bracke as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

Funeral Ceremony will be 6:30 pm Monday, May 21, 2018 with a visitation from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
