He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 17, 1944 to the late Greene and Mae Reed-Ellison. Mr. Ellison served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings Don Phillips and Maurine Ellison.
Carl leaves behind a loving family including his beloved Wife of 51 years, Saundra Marie Sterling-Ellison; one son Jason Sterling Ellison; one daughter, Shannon Rae Ellison; two grandchildren, Benjamin Carl Morris and Abigail Faye Morris, one brother, Lowell (Pat) Ellison as well as a host of other extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Monday, May 21, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018 with Pastor Keith Haithcock officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
Visitation for Family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
