Truman H. Ellis, 57, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth in Edgewood, Ky. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 23, 1961 to the late Truman H. and Hazel Griffith-Ellis.

Mr. Ellis was a member of the Erlanger Christian Church and worked as Registered Nurse having worked as the nursing director at Ivy Knoll and most recently for Bright Star Home Health.

"Ike" is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Teri McCord-Ellis; one daughter, Morgan P. (Todd) Reed, one son, Scott A. (Kristen) McPhearson, two grandchildren, Adalynn M. Reed and Hunter E. Reed as well as a host of other extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that in loving memory of Truman, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the MS Society.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 9, 2018 with a visitation from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Erlanger Christian Church, 27 Graves Ave, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. At Ike's request, attendees should dress colorfully and casually.
