Rothenbusch, Shirley Inez age 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on December 13, 1939 to James and Nova Ely (nee Forbis). Shirley was a member of the White Shrine, Order of the Eastern Star, Rainbow Girls and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She married Clarence "Ted" Rothenbusch Jr. on March 3, 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Cliff Rothenbusch; her granddaughter, Chrissy Rothenbusch; her sisters, Mary Margaret Ely and Blanche Ely; and her brother, Tommie Ely. Shirley is survived by her beloved husband, Ted of 62 years; her son, Ricky (Debby Noe) Rothenbusch; her daughter, Vickie (Rodney) Potter; her sister, Kay (Darold) Wright; her brother, Vic (Donna) Ely; her sister, Nova (Dave) King; her grandchildren, Rachel (John) Toms, Rebecca (Dustin) Smith, Gregory (Carrie) Potter, Janet Rothenbusch, Ashley (Josh Burton) Potter, and Nathan Potter; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Toms, Gerald Toms, and Nova Rae Toms; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Newcomer-West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
