Ponder, Loney Faye age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. She was born in Frakes, Kentucky on August 28, 1938 to John and Lizzie Partin (nee Daughtery).

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Partin; father, John Partin; brothers, Roy Partin, Marion Partin; sisters, Joyce Willis, Reathea Partin; granddaughter, Carrie; and niece, Becky. Loney is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Gene Ponder; brother, Alford (Louise) Partin; nephews, Junior and Johnny; brother Tommy (Glenna) Partin; nephew, Tommy Dale; brother-in-law, Leslie Willis; nephew, Mike; niece, Nancy; Roy’s children, John, Larry, and Janice; Marion’s daughter, Linda; daughters, Sue (George) Kumler; Helen (Mike) Serotkin, and Carla (Naser) Abdou; Sons, Anthony (Shannon) McCullough, Harvey (Vicki) McCullough, Martin, Tommy, and Jimmy Ponder; granddaughters, Angel, Jamie, April, Brittany; grandsons, Travis, Jacob, Gavin, Keith, Justin (Patricia), and Steven (Tisha); great-grandchildren, Kaylin, Katrina, Chasidy, Catryn, Mia, Justin, Mason, Ailynn, Ayerahlie, Kira, Zoey, Jeffery, Aubree, Kiley, Kamry, Braden, Jackson, and Tucker; and a host of other family members and friends.

Loney enjoyed the art of writing songs, reading, crossword puzzles, watching SharkTank, and yard-sales/ flea markets. Some of her favorite things were purses and shoes, she loved gardening, collecting cookbooks, cooking family favorite’s biscuits n’ gravy and banana pudding, and spending time with family playing horse shoes and cards. And her little dog, To-to too.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 followed by a funeral ceremony at 12:00 pm.
