Mr. Taylor was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on September 11, 1950 to the late Ernest Mitchell Taylor and Ruby L. Ladd-Taylor.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Robert M. Taylor and Joseph Taylor.
Ernest leaves behind a loving family including his beloved Wife, Sandra F. Soard-Taylor; three sons, Ernest R. (Tracy) Taylor, Jr., Samuel L. Taylor and Sidney W. Taylor; one daughter, Sherri L. Taylor; one brother Jerry W. (Linda) Taylor; two sisters, Carol Ferguson and Peggy (Al) Caldwell; 9 grandchildren, Brooklyn Taylor, Brittany Miller, Samantha Caroll, Daniel Caroll, Alicia Taylor, Brianna Noe, Connor Taylor, Malachi Noble and James Noble; two great-grandchild, Ryi Carroll and Christopher Taylor as well as a host of extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of God, 1103 Banklick Street, Covington, Kentucky on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 12 noon with Pastor Norman Rice officiating, burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - North, Williamstown, Kentucky. Military Honors will be conducted by the Elsmere VFW Post.
Visitation for family and friends will be at the Church on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time at noon.
Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky has been entrusted to handle final arrangements.
