Brewer, James "Jim" A. age 62, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 27, 1955 to Willliam A. and Helen R. Brewer (nee Spies). Jim was member of the F & AM Masonic Lodge #162 - Yeatman, Scottish Rite, and Syrian Shrine. "Gymshoe" was an active member of the Syrian Shrine Clowns.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willliam A. Brewer. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Robbin Brewer (nee Defendorf); his mother, Helen R. Brewer; his children, Allison (Eric) Hornschemeier, James D. (Katie) Brewer, Paul Brewer; his grandchildren, Edward and Keira Hornschemeier, Andrew and Jacob Brewer; his sister, Kathy (Mike) Gianetti; his brothers, Steve (Kathy) Brewer and David (Robyn) Brewer; and a host of other family members and friends.

Memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm at Syrian Shrine Center, 9730 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215. Family and friends are invited to attend a light luncheon at the Syrian Shrine, following the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be directed to, Shriner's Hospital for Children-Inpatient Rehab Unit (IRU), 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.

Interment will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 10:00 am at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241.
